We offer the following types of services for printing, copying, laminating and scanning requests.

Black & white copying/printing

Laminating

How to place an order

Submit your request in person at the shop, or message us by email to TPS@ntu.ac.uk.

Please save your files as print-ready flattened PDFs or JPEGs. This helps reduce waiting times and ensures your work is printed correctly. Please note that although we offer a while-you-wait service, longer waiting times are to be expected during peak periods.

We offer high-quality digital small-format copying and printing in black and white for:

Available sizes: A5/A4/A3.

Available paper weights: 80gsm up to 300gsm in uncoated and gloss.

Premium papers are also available in various sizes, such as creative papers, acetate/tracing paper/labels.

We offer high-quality digital plan printing printed on 90gsm paper – the ideal choice for Architecture, CAD, and building plans.

These can be supplied from a print-ready PDF file

We offer high-quality digital small format colour copying and printing for:

  • Document printing
  • Dissertation printing
  • Portfolio printing
  • Booklets
  • Flyers/leaflets

Available sizes: A5/A4/A3.

Available paper weights: 100gsm up to 300gsm in uncoated and gloss.

Premium papers are also available in various sizes, such as creative papers, acetate/tracing paper/labels.

We use a high-quality 8-ink HP Z-series production photographic printer on:

  • Draft paper – 90gsm
  • Satin, matt and gloss – up to 260gsm
  • Textured art paper – 210gsm
  • Photo Rag Matt Fine Art – smooth – 308gsm

Available sizes: A2/A1/A0.

We offer high-quality laminating services in the following formats:

  • Gloss film

Available sizes: A4/A3

We offer black & white or full colour high resolution scans, which you can send via email or bring into the shop on a USB drive.

Examples of our products

Black & white printing and copying

We provide high-quality black and white digital printing and copying for documents, dissertations, portfolios, booklets, flyers, leaflets and business cards. Choose from a wide range of paper weights (80gsm to 300gsm) and uncoated or gloss finishes, available in A5, A4 and A3 sizes.

Plan printing

We provide high-quality plan printing on 90gsm paper, ideal for architectural drawings, CAD designs and building plans. Simply supply a print-ready PDF, and we’ll produce your plans in a range of sizes, including A2, A1 and A0.

Colour printing & copying

We offer high-quality small-format digital colour printing and copying for documents, dissertations, portfolios, booklets, flyers and business cards. Choose from 100gsm to 300gsm paper in uncoated or gloss finishes, with premium options including creative papers, acetate, tracing paper and labels. Available in A5, A4 and A3 sizes.

Large format colour printing

We produce exceptional photographic prints using a high-quality 8-ink HP Z-series printer. Choose from a range of papers, including 90gsm draft, satin, matt and gloss up to 260gsm, textured art paper at 210gsm, and smooth Photo Rag Matt Fine Art at 308gsm. Available in A2, A1 and A0 sizes.

Laminating

We offer professional laminating services to help protect and preserve your documents. Choose from A4 or A3 sizes, finished with a high-quality gloss film for a smooth, durable and long-lasting result.

Scanning

We offer high-resolution black and white or full-colour scanning services, with files delivered via email or USB drive. Various sizes are available, and turnaround time for bulk or complex scanning requests is typically 24 hours (subject to availability).
