Cricket at NTU is a growing club in both size and performance who cater for anyone regardless of ability or experience in the sport. Whether you play for a club competing in your local premier division or have little knowledge and experience of the game and are looking to try something new, then cricket is the perfect sport to help you develop skills both on and off the field.

Represent

NTUCC currently have four men’s outdoor and two indoor teams playing in the BUCS leagues. This allows us to compete and contribute to BUCS points all year round. Our men’s first XI gained promotion to Midlands Division 1 after an unbeaten 2018/19 season in Midlands 2A. The 2’s play in Midlands 2A, 3’s in Midlands 4B, and 4’s in Midlands 4A. In indoor, our 1’s made it to the Northern Championship Qualifier, held at Edgbaston.

NTUCC currently have 1 BUCS Women's indoor and 1 BUCS Women's Outdoor teams.

Training takes place on a Wednesday and Friday depending on your squad at Clifton Sports Hub or Clifton Village, both located on Clifton Campus.

Our head coach is Gary Lambert.

How to join

The cost to play cricket at NTU is £115. This fee covers both membership and BUCS affiliation. Training sessions begin early on into the academic year, so it is advised that this fee is paid for as early as possible.  Memberships purchased at any point during the academic year are only valid until the end of term 3.

Both training and match kit can be purchased via the NTU Sports page on the Kukri website or at the Clifton/City Sports Centres.
