Role

Mark is the Course Leader for the MSc / MRes Smart Agriculture degree.

He has taught agriculture and horticulture to undergraduate and postgraduate students, with specific interest in applied crop production practices.

He is also employed as a crop advisor and agronomist in the agriculture and horticulture industry.

Research areas

Mark has undertaken company consultancy work on growing media for the horticulture industry, looking at sustainability aspects, moisture holding capacity and crop nutrition in partnership with Biffa
