Career overview

Nathan is a registered veterinary nurse with the RCVS and has years of experience working in small animal practice both in general practice and referral work. After graduating with FdSc in Veterinary Nursing from Nottingham Trent University he continued his studies at Harper Adams University completing a DipAVN (Small Animal) and a MSc in Advanced Veterinary Nursing. His areas of interest are around anaesthesia, pain management, exotics species and parasitology.

Research areas

As part of his MSc Nathan completed a research project into the implementation of pain management drugs for acute trauma in feline patients.

External to his work at NTU, Nathan is a panel member for the RCVS accreditation of veterinary nursing licence to practice, graduate and post-graduate qualifications.
