Role
Sarah Heckford is the Subject Leader for Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal management. She is responsible for teaching students about animal welfare and breed development.
Sarah loves working with students and watching them develop and discover something new. She feel that Brackenhurst is a fantastic learning environment with excellent resources, great courses and very supportive and friendly staff.
Career overview
Sarah has worked at Brackenhurst for 20 years and been the Subject leader for 15 years. She has taught a variety of students at all levels (including college, undergraduate and postgraduate). Her qualifications include a degree in Education and HND in Applied Animal Science (Equines studies).
