Suzanne Ian is the Veterinary Nursing Centre Assistant Coordinator at NTU's Brackenhurst Campus.
Career overview
Suzanne is a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), qualifying in 1998, and has worked in a variety of veterinary roles over the years, including Head Veterinary Nurse of a busy practice.
She has also worked outside of practice to work with wound dressing manufacturers to instigate a partnership between manufacturer and the veterinary industry.
Suzanne has always had a keen interest in developing and training student veterinary nurses, which led her to join Nottingham Trent University as the Veterinary Centre Assistant Coordinator in 2020.
Her current role provides support to NTU student veterinary nurses with their placements. The team she works with offers support before, during and after placements, to students and practices alike, and by supporting with their online nursing progress log and general wellbeing while away from the University.
