Nottingham School of Art & Design

Role

I am a senior lecturer and the course leader for BSc (Hons) Film Technology.

Career overview

Prior to joining NTU, I taught film and television production at the Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education as a lecturer. I later joined the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, where I served as Course Leader for BTEC Extended Media Production before progressing to Course Leader for the HE programme, BSc (Hons) Film Production Technology.

Alongside my academic career, I’ve worked across film, television, and live events as a camera operator, director, vision mixer, and first assistant director. I have also worked as a freelance photographer and spent a period as a football commentator for Nottingham Hospitals Radio, covering Nottingham Forest matches.
