Role

Emmeline is a Senior Lecturer on BA (Hons) Graphic Design  Emmeline is currently the Year Lead and Co-Module Lead for the final year. Emmeline also teaches into the 2nd year and is the Professional Development Tutor supporting placements and industry connections across all years.

Career overview

Emmeline joined NTU in 2020. Prior to this, her career was industry-based working at various leading fashion houses, specialising in seasonal branding strategies and garment print design and production.

Over the years, Emmeline has worked with broad international design teams as a Senior Designer including heading a Japanese division across a range of media and disciplines. From pure graphic communication, collaborative brand creation, packaging, garment print creation, and environmental design.

These experiences have developed her wide and collaborative approach to the subject area and informed her practice and teaching approaches. Alongside these roles, Emmeline was a visiting lecturer and independent freelance Graphic Designer.
