Role
As a new lecturer at NTU I will be teaching and supporting students predominantly in 3D Game Art. Everything from the basics & fundamentals to more advanced and industry standard workflows. Whilst also looking toward future trends and upcoming methods. My goal is to help students gain all the right skills to work toward a career in Games.
Career overview
Nearing almost a decade of industry experience I started my career as a Junior Artist working on Mobile Games. Later I moved into VFX as a 3D Artist working across animations, film and advertisements. From there I joined an exciting start-up and research team at SHU working on innovative XR games for initiatives like Games for Change. At this point I also became more involved in teaching, tutoring and wanting to give back by helping students.
I have now spent most of time working as a Character Artist for studios such as; Supermassive Games who are known for titles like Until Dawn, working on AAA cinematic horror games. To lastly being at nDreams establishing new games like Synapse and collaborating with renowned IPs as Ghostbusters, they are a studio with many games at the forefront of VR.
