Role
Michael Greenwell is the course leader for the BA Journalism course at NTU.
His responsibilities include:
- Leading BA Journalism course delivery and team, as well as responsible for NCTJ
accreditation duties and responsibilities. Maintaining effective communications between NCTJ staff and dissemination among own colleagues. - NCTJ requirements include: NCTJ moderation of eportfolios; NCTJ annual reports and interim course reports.
- Own teaching responsibilities include: Public Affairs for Journalists module leadership; Political Journalism module leadership; Sports Journalism module leadership; media law modules tutor.
- Attending committees, such as SASQ and Success For All.
- Implementing National Student Survey action plan and its inputting into course review.
- Results analysis of student achievement.
- Pastoral support for all BA Journalism students.
- Consideration of academic referrals.
- Consideration of student applications after UCAS deadline.
- Consideration of staffing of modules.
