Michael Greenwell

Role

Michael Greenwell is the Course Leader and Senior Lecturer for the BA Journalism course at NTU.

His responsibilities include:

• Leading BA Journalism course delivery and team, as well as responsible for NCTJ
  accreditation duties and responsibilities. Maintaining effective communications between NCTJ staff and dissemination among own colleagues.
• NCTJ requirements include: NCTJ moderation of e-portfolios; NCTJ annual reports and interim course reports.
• Module leader for: Public Affairs; Year 1 and 2 Law modules; Introduction to Journalism Studies; Political Journalism.
• Attending committees, such as SASQ and Success For All.
• Implementing National Student Survey action plan and its inputting into course review.
• Results analysis of student achievement.
• Pastoral support for all BA Journalism students.
• Consideration of academic referrals.
• Consideration of student applications after UCAS deadline.
• Consideration of staffing of modules.
