Role
Kai Zhu is a Lecturer in the Department of Marketing and the module leader for MSc Digital Marketing Management.
As the module leader for MSc Digital Marketing Management, Kai is responsible for the overall design of the module, and working closely with the MSc Digital Marketing/Marketing team to monitor and improve the module. His goal is to design and deliver high quality learning opportunities for students on the module, with different backgrounds and objectives.
Kai is involved in various Digital Marketing modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His teaching is informed by most recently development of digital technologies and academic research in the field. He is also engaged with teaching and learning innovation and excellence with adapting active learning, inclusive learning and team-based learning approaches.
Kai completed his PhD in Marketing from Nottingham Trent University in 2017. His research is focusing on consumer decision-making on digital service platforms with a wide range of interesting topics explored, including consume information process capacity from a spacetime perspective, applying survival analysis to investigate consumer decision-making.
