Liz Crookes is a senior lecturer in Accounting and Finance and also undertakes the Assistant Course Leader role for Level 4 BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance
Career overview
Liz has been teaching in Accounting & Finance since 2005, having taught AAT part time at a business college before working as a lecturer at the University of Derby for over a decade and joining NTU in October 2023.
Prior to this she was a management accountant at an airline, specialising in the costs associated with engines.
Research areas
She produced the Derby & Derbyshire Top 200 companies for a number of years. Liz also completed a Masters in Big Data Analytics in 2023.
External activity
She is currently working as a lecturer on finance modules at the Centre for Mineral Products.
Liz is also a trustee of a local scout group and the PTA.
