Role
Ray is Academic Quality Systems and Data Officer within the Centre for Academic Development & Quality (CADQ) and provides operational support for the following applications:
- Curriculum management system (CourseLoop)
- Module & course evaluation system (MySay)
- External examiner database and reporting portal
Ray provides first-line support to the business and users of these applications, liaising with staff, Digital Technologies, and service providers where necessary to ensure these applications are running smoothly.
As part of his role, Ray supports CADQ with process mapping and data quality improvement to ensure the information used to improve decision-making is collected and stored efficiently and accurately.

Ray is an experienced project and business operations manager, a champion for change and has a passion for data quality and continuous improvement.
Prior to joining NTU, Ray held various senior roles relating to data, asset and project management within the electrical distribution industry working throughout the UK and Ireland.
