Role

Rachel Williams is a Paralegal at NLS Legal, working predominantly in the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) and Crime Departments.

Rachel’s duties are:

- Supporting the NLS Legal supervising solicitors with the running and development of the SEND and Crime services. This includes interviewing clients, drafting letters of advice and undertaking legal research.

- Supervising law students on research tasks and internal preparatory work.

Career overview

Rachel graduated from Birmingham City University with a First-Class Honours in Law with Criminology in 2021. Prior to joining NTU she worked as a voluntary research assistant and a student welfare benefits advisor within the BCU Law Clinic. In 2021, she began working with NTU as a Legal Assistant and her role included administrative and paralegal duties, before starting her paralegal position.
