Career overview

Dale completed both his undergraduate degree in Sport Business Management and Masters degree in Sport, Law and Society at Leeds Beckett University.

Following his formal studies, he has held a range of roles in the sports industry including: sport business owner, sports academy manager, sports development officer, head coach, coach educator and talented athlete lifestyle advisor.

Notable achievements include building a full pathway of participation for American football in the Leeds region, founding his own sport business, leading large-scale Sport England funded projects to successful completion and head coaching a University American football programme to a BUCS national championship. Dale has a strong network within the sports industry having collaborated with numerous national governing bodies, community clubs and schools to develop sporting programmes.

Dale joined NTU in the summer of 2023 having taught on a variety of sport management modules at Leeds Beckett University since 2020 (including topics such as sports marketing, sport business, professional practice and leadership),
