Career overview
Angie Bartoli is a qualified and registered social worker, having been a practitioner and manager in statutory Children’s Services and with the NSPCC. Following her role as a Training Manager for a Local Safeguarding Board, she became a social work academic in 2006. Angie has a keen interest in equality and diversity, which is reflected in her publications.
Angie’s doctoral research focussed on the transition from social work practitioner to manager using visual methodologies and Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Angie is a book editor for the British Journal of Social Work and the Vice Chair for the British Association of Social Work (BASW) in England.
