Jannah teaches broadcast journalism on the undergraduate programme, this includes television, radio, online and social media journalism. She runs multiplatform news days and supervises undergraduate documentary dissertations.

Jannah started her career in radio, as a breakfast presenter and newsreader before moving to online news and then finally, television.
Jannah worked for New Zealand’s equivalent state broadcaster for a number of years, supervising the online news output before moving to live, daily television news.
She worked on TVNZ’s live Breakfast show for three years, starting as producer before moving to supervising producer.
She has worked with presenters, reporters and producers to make live and recorded television content.
