Role
Marco is the course leader for the BA International Relations, and a module leader in International Relations and Global History, Global Political Economic in Everyday Life, Dissertation, and the Politics of the Global South.
Marco also has research interests in theories of international relations, Antarctic politics, Carl Schmitt, theories of international relations, and theories of international politics.
Career overview
Dr. Marco Genovesi is a Senior Lecturer in International Relations at Nottingham Trent University. He received his PhD in Politics and International Relations from the University of Nottingham in September 2021. He started working at NTU in January 2021, and he is now Senior Lecturer and Course Leader of the BA in International Relations.
Research areas
Marco's research interests include the study of international forums’ social interaction, environmental negotiations, and Carl Schmitt’s political thought applied to the study of international environmental politics.
