Sport and Wellbeing Academy

The core aim of the Sport and Wellbeing Academy is to be at the heart of health and wellbeing in the local community and to promote and enable people to lead healthier lifestyles.

It gives our students the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the health and fitness industry and enables us to work with local communities to promote a culture of healthy eating and active lifestyles which enhances physical and mental wellbeing.

Our senior health and exercise practitioners, university researchers and students combine to make this a safe, welcoming and dedicated space.

Sport and exercise science at NTU has rapidly evolved over recent years and this has presented us with an opportunity to bring together our world-leading expertise and state-of-the-art equipment to create a real impact in the community.
