Why did you choose to study this course at Brackenhurst?

I have always had an interest in agriculture from a young age growing up on a farm, Brackenhurst offered me the best facilities and opportunities to gain new skills and develop my knowledge.

Tell us a little bit more about your course - are there any specific elements that you enjoy the most?

I thoroughly enjoyed the lambing element of the agriculture course and am really enjoying learning about animal nutrition.

Tell us a little bit more about how you came to Brackenhurst. 

I came to Brackenhurst from studying my GCSEs.

How did you find your course tutors?

The course tutors are really welcoming, they are really helpful and any support needed I know I can go to them for it.

What do you think of the Brackenhurst Campus and the facilities here?

The library is very beneficial when needing to get work done and there is always someone there to help when required.

What is the most valuable thing you have learnt from your course so far?

I have gained a lot of confidence speaking in front of classrooms from independent work which has then been shared with others, I have gained loads of teamwork skills within the work environment.

Do you belong to any clubs or societies?

I run the Brackenhurst Young Farmers' Club and am also a student course rep.

What are your ambitions for the future or plans following this course?

I am intending on carrying on my education onto university to study straight agriculture to carry on into this industry in the future.
