Why did you choose to study at NTU?
“I chose NTU because of the dark room facilities; I couldn't believe how professional they were when I attended an open day. It really made me consider how much I would grow as a photographer by coming to this university. I also found that during my interview all staff members were so welcoming which gave NTU the edge over other universities.”

What do you enjoy most about studying Photography?
“I love the community within our course, everyone helps each other out whether you know them or not. There is always a helping hand about the Art and Design building.”

Has the course included any industry competitions?
“There have been multiple opportunities passed on to us through the staff. One I particularly enjoyed entering was the Bar Tur Photobook Award; it was a good experience getting to know how to present yourself outside of university standards.

How do you find the course staff?
“The staff on this course are a true credit to NTU. From first to final year they have never failed to amaze me with how intelligent, inspirational and talented they all are. They have never ending support for the students in all aspects of the course. I will forever owe them for my success.”

What do you like about living and studying in Nottingham?
“Nottingham is an up-and-coming city, so to be here while that is all happening, as a budding photographer, is a treat in itself.

Why would you recommend studying Photography at NTU?
“If you want to taught by intelligent yet down to earth people, be part of a warm and open community, then you don’t really need to look any further!”
