“I chose to study at NTU because of the fantastic facilities that similar courses at other universities didn’t seem to have. Also, because of the opportunity to complete a year-long work placement and the vast industry connections here.

“One industry competition that I have really enjoyed was set by GAP INC. This competition offered a 6-12 month placement at their headquarters in New York. The project challenged us to rebrand GAP as you felt suitable for their current market. This was a great opportunity - I reached the interview stage and received positive feedback for my work.

“The technical staff are fantastic and a huge support system. The entire team are supportive, helpful and friendly, giving the course a family-like feel.

“I completed my year-long placement at two companies; six months at Hugo Boss in Switzerland and seven months at LF Americas in New York. This opportunity gave me vital industry skills on CAD based design software and the chance to work in two different levels of the market at both a design company and supermarket supplier.”
