What made you choose to study at NTU?
“When I was searching for a university I was looking for one where I could create my ideas no matter how big or small they were. I found that Nottingham Trent University had amazing facilities as well as a healthy amount of student contact time.”
What did you enjoy most about your course?
“From the onset of the course, you are treated like a designer. I also enjoyed the collaborative and supportive spirit amongst my peers and tutors.”
How did it feel to be recognised at New Designers?
“I was surprised and humbled to be recognised; I never thought I was going to get my work recognised, especially at a prestigious event like that.”
What is the most valuable thing you have learnt from studying BA (Hons) Graphic Design at NTU?
“Whatever effort you put into your projects is what you will get in return.”
Did the course include any speakers or lecturers from industry?
“During the course, we heard from lots of speakers. One particularly memorable one was delivered during our final year Degree Show by Nobrow Press, the talk shed a new light on publication and the art around it.”
How you do the facilities available to you?
“The studios and workshops always pushed me to try new things and I loved it, whilst the Bonington Gallery and art shop were very immersive and welcoming to go to. The campus, library and Students’ Union were amazing spaces for studying as well as unwinding.”
What did you like about studying and living in Nottingham?
“I always said Nottingham feels like home, it has such a balanced environment with social and educational aspects.”
Why would you recommend studying Graphic Design at NTU?
“It is something you won’t regret doing, it really is a home away from home. The University is extremely focused on the greatest success for students and I am a testament to that.”
What are your ambitions for the future?
“I’m hoping to go into further education and as well as freelancing for now, watch out for my name in the future!”
