What motivated you to pursue an MBA, and why did you choose Nottingham Business School?

How has the MBA programme at Nottingham Business School impacted your career progression and personal growth?

"The MBA at NBS was a truly life-changing experience. It wasn’t just about gaining business knowledge—it was a powerful journey of self-discovery. I’ve gained greater confidence in my skills, challenged limiting beliefs, and overcome obstacles that were holding me back. "I genuinely loved everything about the programme. The modules were specific, practical, and in-depth, providing knowledge I could immediately apply. I appreciated the global perspective—we worked with local SMEs and had the opportunity to collaborate internationally, such as during our consultancy trip to Budapest. It’s a unique education like no other."

Were there any specific skills or knowledge areas from the MBA that have been particularly useful in your career? 

"The transferable skills I developed during the MBA have been the most valuable. Critical thinking, effective communication, and international exposure have transformed the way I approach challenges. I’ve gained the ability to tackle any issue—no matter the context or complexity—with greater efficiency and depth, ensuring that the impact of my work is both meaningful and far-reaching."

Did you participate in any extracurricular activities, or leadership opportunities during your MBA? If so, how did they contribute to your experience?

"I had the honour of serving as the course representative for my cohort, which was a truly enriching experience. Representing such a diverse group of individuals, spanning different nationalities and backgrounds, taught me how to advocate for collective interests while appreciating cultural nuances.

Additionally, I participated in the national Business Challenge simulation, which enhanced my strategic and collaborative skills. I was also part of NTU’s volleyball team, which provided a fantastic outlet for building connections and staying active during my studies."

How has the network you built at NBS influenced your career or professional opportunities?

"The network I’ve built at NBS has been invaluable in positioning my profile as truly international. It’s highlighted my adaptability, resilience, and ability to think beyond the local perspective. These connections have not only broadened my horizons but also opened doors to diverse opportunities, helping me develop a more agile and culturally sensitive approach to professional challenges."
