Why did you choose NTU and your course?

I opted to study at Nottingham Business School because of the exceptional reputation of the university around the world. Based on my observations, I believe NBS is really committed about providing students with a great educational experience. The key reason for choosing NBS was their prompt reaction and student assistance. In addition, Nottingham is a student-friendly city, which influenced my decision to attend NBS. I have three years of professional experience, and an MSc Project Management would help me advance in the global economy.

What has stood out about Nottingham Business School?

NBS has been recognised as one of the top business schools in the UK and has received various awards and accreditations for its programs. Some aspects are the quality of teaching, range of programs, research excellence, strong industry connections etc.

How would you rate the course facilities and why?

Nottingham Business School offers a range of modern and well-equipped facilities to support teaching and learning. These include: libraries, IT facilities, learning space, and sports and fitness facilities.

Overall, Nottingham Business School offers modern and well-equipped facilities to support students' learning and development. The university continues to invest in its facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of students and support their academic success.

What is your favourite thing about your course?

My favourite thing about my course is the module selection. Each module is designed in such a way that each concept is easy to understand and related to real world scenarios.

Have you taken part in academic mentoring?

I have attended academic mentoring sessions with my mentor. I got guidance in multiple areas like personal development plans and career development. I have received all the support from the faculty.

Can you tell us a bit about your placement?

My placement experience was great. The NTU Employability team is the biggest support that I got in my entire placement journey. Everytime they provided continuous support entire placement journey. I must be thankful to them for all their support. Coming to my placement company, it's small scale organization. My team is very supportive, and my manager provides all the support that is required.

How have you found Nottingham as a student city?

Nottingham is a popular destination for students from all over the world, and it has a reputation as a vibrant and student-friendly city. Nottingham is an affordable city, with a relatively low cost of living compared to other major cities in the UK. Nottingham has a thriving cultural scene, with a range of museums, galleries, and theatres. Overall, Nottingham is a great place to study, with a welcoming and diverse community, affordable cost of living, vibrant nightlife, and rich cultural scene.

Did you find it easy to make friends at NTU?

Yes. I got the chance to meet multiple international students like me who are here from other countries. They are very friendly and we spend quality time together during study sessions and outside of university.

What do you think of the support available at NTU? 

Course staff are very friendly. They clear all the doubts without any hesitation and with patience. We have a student union team who can help us in every aspect. For any query I can directly reach out to them. During my placement journey, all I can say is that the Employability team is the biggest support that I got. They explained how the market is, how to approach companies, supported resume preparation and attending interviews.

What's next for you after NTU?

My internship helped me understand how the real world IT works. With my internship experience, I can try for the jobs which are available in the market linked to my course.

Why did you want to study in the UK?

UK universities provide excellent education which is recognised world-wide. UK universities have a strong research infrastructure; moreover the UK is safe and multicultural place to live. Generally, universities in UK have a practical approach of teaching.
