What are Higher Technical Qualifications?
Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQ) are Level 4 and 5 qualifications designed to prepare you for jobs in high-demand industries like engineering, construction, digital technologies, and early years teaching.
Studying a Higher Technical Qualification means you’ll gain advanced technical knowledge and practical skills, making you job-ready by the time you graduate.
An HTQ accreditation is a course that has been approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education to meet employer standards and ensure you receive a high-quality education that meets industry needs.
NTU Mansfield
HTQ qualifications are delivered at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) Mansfield. Our NTU Mansfield Hub is a dedicated higher education centre delivering courses and training from Mansfield town, approximately 14 miles north of Nottingham city centre.

- Get job-ready: Gain qualifications employers are actively seeking.
- Flexible study: Full-time and part-time options available to fit around commitments.
