Once again, Nottingham Trent University (NTU) welcomed final year students across its Architecture and Product Design courses, their friends and family, along with staff, alumni and industry guests to the ADBE Student Showcase. With the extensive exhibition of wide-ranging project work covering two floors of the Newton Building and the Old Chemistry Theatre on NTU's City Campus, students were able to celebrate the completion of their final year of studies.
Dr Andrew Knight, Executive Dean of the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment (ADBE), said:
"I'm very proud of the work our students have produced this year and successfully presented at their degree show."
He added:
"Friday evening was vibrant and full of energy, with students, parents, staff, alumni and industry colleagues coming together to celebrate the creativity, skill and commitment behind this year’s work."
As well as enabling students to show their work to friends, family and fellow students, the Showcase also provided an invaluable opportunity to network with industry guests representing numerous companies, including architecture practices, manufacturers, and retailers.
Dr Knight said:
"It was particularly encouraging to see so many industry partners engaging with students and presenting prizes packing out our lecture theatres. It was also wonderful to meet so many NTU graduates returning to experience the shows and support the next generation of architects, designers and built environment professionals.
"My sincere thanks go to all the sponsors and supporters of the Degree Shows. Their continued partnership plays an important role in recognising and championing emerging talent."
After the celebration event, the exhibition was open for the whole of the following week and was well-attended, drawing school and college parties as well as members of the public. If you missed it, however, you can still explore student work by visiting our online showcases.
Some of our Product Design students will also be exhibiting at New Designers 2026, "the UK's most established graduate design showcase", held at London's Business Design Centre from 1 July - 4 July 2026.
