The co-working space forms part of NTU's growing network of business and enterprise venues, expanding support for businesses across Mansfield and Nottinghamshire. Located within the NTU Mansfield Hub, it complements NTU's spaces in Nottingham, including the Dryden Enterprise Centre and Antenna, and provides another route for organisations to engage with NTU's enterprise and knowledge exchange activity.

The space features eight workstations and a large digital display screen to support presentations and collaborative working. Businesses can also book a separate meeting room for up to eight people, offering a professional setting for client meetings, team sessions and pitches.

The launch brought together business leaders, business owners and public sector representatives from across Mansfield and Ashfield, including members of the Mansfield and Ashfield Business Forum, local councils and Nottinghamshire County Council.

Katrina Starkie, Head of Enterprise at Nottingham Trent University, said:

"For freelancers and SMEs, having access to a professional, welcoming and safe space to meet clients or simply get out of the home office can make a real difference. We're delighted to extend NTU's workspace offer into Mansfield and make this space available to the wider business community. "

Jeremy Hague, Director of Knowledge Exchange at Nottingham Trent University, spoke at the launch about the University’s commitment to supporting the enterprise ecosystem across Mansfield and Nottinghamshire and the important role that accessible business spaces can play in connecting businesses with the University and wider support networks.

Local businesses attending the launch welcomed the new facility.

Caroline Cox, of Caroline Cox Marketing, said:

“It’s a great space in a really useful location. I can see us using it for meetings and sessions with clients, and it’s fantastic to have a space like this available.”

The co-working space and meeting room are available to businesses, freelancers and entrepreneurs looking for flexible workspace in Mansfield.
