The Sustainable Development Team and Nottingham Trent Students' Union are hosting this internal Virtual Climate Action Summit to bring people together to learn more, share ideas, network about ways we can Embrace Sustainability as individuals and as part of the NTU community. You’ll have an opportunity to share your views about which sustainability topics are most important to you, through virtual voting and posting of ideas. So, whether it’s air travel, switching to more plant-based diet, or finding ways to cut out single use plastic, we want to hear more about what matters most to you.

A series of topical workshops will allow for a deeper dive into topics such as plastics, upcycling and recycling where you’ll learn practical skills for addressing sustainability challenges now and in the future. We’re also super excited to have a session all about hedgehogs where you can learn more about how to protect this adorable creature, whose numbers are in decline across the UK.

You can take part in some, or all sessions, and you’ll be able to drop in and out of sessions throughout the day so that it fits your schedule.
