Community Organisations
Here at NTU we are committed to improving outcomes for you, our staff and students, local communities and society as a whole. We work collaboratively with many community groups, charities and other not-for-profit organisations, sharing resources and expertise to make a positive difference.

Community Engagement and Volunteering
We effectively mobilise NTU staff and students to help make a real, sustainable difference to communities. Through mutually beneficial partnerships with stakeholders we coordinate appropriate opportunities such as volunteering or subject-related projects and can put you in touch with colleagues who organise placements or research, for example.

Navigate
At Nottingham Trent University, we believe that although refugees face significant barriers to accessing university, outreach work can play a vital role in providing the extra support necessary to help navigate those additional hurdles.
Nottingham Trent has established the Refugee Outreach Programme which offers opportunities to find out more about the UK higher education system and accessing finance, tours and academic taster sessions, as well as English-language support at evening classes and an annual summer school.
