GO Fellowship Programme

Graduation is not goodbye. Recent graduates can support encourage and inspire Nottingham Trent University (NTU) students by volunteering as part of the GO Fellowship programme.

How does the programme differ from the Alumni and Industry Fellowship Programme?

The GO Fellowship Programme is a division of the Alumni and Industry Fellowship Programme (AIFP) which has been designed with recent NTU graduates in mind. As well as enriching the experience of prospective and current NTU students, GO Fellows are provided with opportunities to develop key professional skills such as networking and leadership. GO Fellows will participate in the programme for two years, before being given the option to join the AIFP.

From supporting open days and speaking at events, to publishing blogs, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved – wherever you are in the world, and whatever your interests might be. You will also be invited to online Masterclasses where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and network with other GO Fellows. There is no time requirement for volunteering with us – our programme is flexible; and is designed to work around your own interests and availability.

Criteria for joining the GO Fellowship Programme

  • NTU alumni who graduated less than two years ago from any degree programme.
  • In employment in the early stages of your career.

NTU prides itself on being an inclusive community and we particularly welcome applications from alumni who represent the diversity of our local communities and wider society.

Why volunteer?

Volunteering is a great way to stay connected with the University, and your peers. The programme is delivered flexibly, with projects taking place both on campus and virtually. There is no minimum time requirement, activities take place at various times throughout the week and can be scheduled around your existing commitments.

As well as the benefits associated with the AIFP, GO Fellows will be supported in developing their professional skills through a series of online sessions.
