Social Work and Health at NTU
Social work and health offer some of the most rewarding, challenging and important jobs going – roles which give you the chance to meaningfully improve life for individuals, families, and even whole communities.
If you’re ready to make that kind of a difference, these hands-on, work-focused degrees will help you master the field’s theories and principles, and then apply them beyond the classroom – with real people, and direct results.
Through work-based learning and teaching from qualified experts in the areas of social work and health care, our undergraduate courses will help you build the knowledge and skills to help shape the lives of vulnerable people.
Designed to deepen your skills and knowledge in both vocational areas, our masters courses are notable for their focus on professional practice and subject expertise. Our MA Social Work course allows you to specialise in children and family or adult social work, while our MA Public Health course enables you to gain critical awareness of the philosophical, theoretical and methodological aspects of the discipline. Work placements on both courses will ensure you’re ready for professional practice in social work and enable you to pursue a variety of roles within public health, both at home and abroad.
It’s not too late to apply. Undergraduate course places are still available for September 2021. See courses below for availability.
