Named after the English Poet who famously became known for his celebrations of the English countryside and sorrows at its disruption.

The building contains 2 large lecture theatres which seat 160 and 317 delegates, and both have built in screens and projectors with a small stage area at the front.

Getting to the Teaching and Learning building, Clifton Campus

Travelling by car

When driving to Clifton Campus the postcode is NG11 8NS and we have complementary car parking available on site with up to 500 spaces.

Travelling by public transport

By train and tram

East Midlands Parkway and Nottingham train stations are both a 10 minute drive from our Clifton Campus. You can also get then get the tram from Nottingham Station to Clifton, stopping at Southchurch Drive North. The Nottingham tram service runs from the city centre to Clifton, Southchurch Drive North is the closest stop to Clifton Campus which is then a 20 minute walk.

By bus

During term the Go2 Uni 4 runs between our City and Clifton campuses. Out of term NCT 1 picks up at Beastmarket Hill, Collin Street, Nottingham and Nottingham train station and stops outside Clifton Campus.
