Proudly sustainable venue

The main venue on our City Campus, the Newton building, is also home to a family of Peregrine Falcons; NTU have partnered with the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust to protect these beautiful birds of prey. Since the cameras were installed in 2012, viewers have seen 31 chicks fledge, with 42 chicks fledging in total since the birds took up residence over 20 years ago.

Newton conferencing and events facilities
The Newton building is a magnificent example of mid-20th Century architecture, it is one of the tallest buildings in Nottingham and boasts a striking art-deco style.
Arkwright conferencing and events facilities
Built in 1877-81 with an elaborate Gothic design of gables, arches and pinnacles, Arkwright was originally home to University College Nottingham as well as the city library and a natural history museum.
Chaucer conferencing and events facilities
The Chaucer building houses Nottingham Law School, a leading provider of professional law courses, and the School of Social Sciences.
University Hall conferencing and events facilities
University Hall features a stunning main hall, seating up to 500 in original pews, with a stage and lectern - perfect for many types of events.
Team building at Nottingham City Campus

Getting to City Campus
By car
Nottingham is at the heart of the country and is well served by the motorway network. The M1 passes close to the west of the city, the A42 / M42 link to the south-west of the city, and the A1(M) to the east of the city.
When using the M1 from the north, exit at Junction 26 and take the A610 Nuthall Road / Alfreton Road into the city. When using the M1 from the south, use Junction 24 and follow the A453 into the city centre.
When driving to City Campus please use the following postcode NG1 4BU.
Car Parking
We do not have onsite car parking, the Forest Park and Ride tram service is particularly convenient and is always popular with delegates attending events.
We do have discounted rates with Q-Park Talbot Street please use the post code NG1 5GG. Delegates using the car park must press for a ticket upon entry to the car park instead of using the contactless payment on entry, in order to be able to activate the discount at the pay station on exit. Please speak to the events team on the day of your event to obtain the voucher.
By train
Nottingham station is located approximately one mile from our City Campus, which can then be accessed on foot, by tram or by bus.
By tram
The Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tram stops on our University’s City Campus, providing a convenient link from the railway station and the area around Broadmarsh Bus Station redevelopment. There are also several park and ride stops along the route, which provide convenient places to park when visiting the University. The Phoenix Park Park and Ride site is close to Junction 26 of the M1 and the Forest Park and Ride site is near to the city centre.
By air
East Midlands Airport is the closest airport to Nottingham City Campus which is 15 miles outside the city. There is a Skylink bus service running every half an hour into the city centre.
