Project Overview
This transnational education initiative, based in Egypt, empowers and mentors women in STEM. CEM-STEM uses a hybrid, gender-transformative educational model, giving participants entrepreneurship skills, networks, and resources to launch new ventures. Designed for institutional embedding, its materials and methodologies provide a pathway for sustainable scalability and long-term societal impact.
Aim and Methodological Approach
The research is currently in the data-gathering stage and aims to understand how entrepreneurship education can bridge the gap between academic learning and practical enterprise development. The project emphasises contextually appropriate forms of entrepreneurship rather than high-growth Western start-up models.
