The staff at Norton Court are really friendly and take their time to answer and enquiries that I may have
Norton Court has been a very good first year accommodation, is a little bit out of town but Ubers are cheap from there and walking distance isn’t actually that far, the heating is great and there is enough space to live comfortably. Freshers week was great with how Norton Court provided us activities, even recently we got to have a pizza night. There isn’t that many in the accomodation which allows you to get to know people quickly. As well great car park if people wish to drive.
Good staff, good cleaning service. Location isn’t the best is a long walk from uni
Wouldn’t change where I went for the world even if it may not be as great as other accoms, met some amazing people
I had a really good experience and it felt like home being so far away from home.
stayed at norton and had a great experience! the facilities they offer are all easy and accessible to use with no issues. it is about a 20-30 minute walk from NTU but getting the steps in was always a plus. there’s also quite a few food spots nearby as well as a retail park with places like poundland, aldi etc. being only 2-3 mins away so a food shop is easy to handle
I’ve had no issues at all with my accommodation itself and I have loved staying there, it is definitely worth the extra walk to uni as it is a lovey place to live
Great accommodation for first year students and beyond. Lots of lovely people to meet and have made friends for life. Common room space has good services for socialising too.
Good value, location from uni is bit far.
Living here made me feel like at home, got settled within couple of weeks. Accomedation is close to town centre, just 25 min walk, loads of european and national shops with cheap prices like aldi and b&m, just around the corner. Really friendly staff who are professional and understanding. I recommend anyone to book here to stay, as there are reasonable benefits living here.
i’m moving back here second year as i loved my first year here! the staff are so lovely and helpful, if you’re nice to them they are to you! washing is about £5 a load (wash and dry), there is a retail park super close by and also a londis! the aldi does a too good to go box for £3.50 which really helps when you’re kinda broke! my only issue was the heating not coming on until october so i recommend a warm blanket for september!! our kitchen is cleaned once a week and the staff are super friendly and do an amazing job!! collecting post is super easy! my only caution, be careful of the hot water!! it gets super hot put that’s perfect if you LOVE hot showers :)
So far I have enjoyed my accom! As with any there are pros and cons and the biggest con has to be location as we are 20/25 minutes out of the city so sometimes you can be rushing about to get from A to B but there is public transport available. Thankfully we have multiple big(ish) shops near us so it’s only the city centre/uni that’s out of reach. Good value for money in comparison to some other accoms I’ve seen but it’s still expensive (unfortunately that goes for most)
