This dorm is clean but the location could be better.
Very well run accommodation, however a bit far from the university.
Norton Court is a solid choice if you want to save a bit of money compared to the city-center halls. It’s located in the Radford area, which is about a 20-25 minute walk to the NTU City Campus. • Pro Tip: If you aren't feeling the walk, the bus links are really frequent. • Shopping: Having a Lidl and Aldi nearby is a massive bonus for the weekly food shop it’s much cheaper than the little Tesco Express stores in the center. The Room & Facilities I stayed in a Standard En-suite, and for the price, it’s great value. • Privacy: Having your own bathroom is the biggest win. The shower is decent, and the room has enough storage for all my clothes and books. • Kitchen: The shared kitchen is where everything happens. It’s modern enough, though it can get a bit crowded if all 6 of you try to cook at the same time. • WiFi: Surprisingly fast! I haven’t had any issues with Netflix or gaming.
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the environment is great for students just entering university or even coming back for further years. The cleaning is great and the accommodations are well maintained. The price is amazing for the value, I couldn't recommend it enough!
Lots of fun social events each week. Staff are really helpful. Cleaners are really kind and their cleaning is top tier.
It’s very cheep and the location decent cause u get Aldi, farm food and B&M close to you
A comfortable hall with excellent local essentials shopping. Internet is fast and reliable l. Staff are competent and friendly Local Area is a bit run down but I haven’t had any issues. Distance to city campus is around 25-30min walk if you’ve got short legs.
Great value for money, further away from uni but a lot cheaper than the accommodations closer. Also en-suites in every room, other accommodations have shared bathrooms that was a big point for me. The security seems very nice and friendly. Overall I have enjoy med my time here
Staff are all lovely and make sure I know what to do if I’m confused, cleaners are friendly and social spaces are cleaned regularly
Overall fun experience, only downside is being quite a distance from the city centre.
The staff at Norton Court are really friendly and take their time to answer and enquiries that I may have
Norton Court has been a very good first year accommodation, is a little bit out of town but Ubers are cheap from there and walking distance isn’t actually that far, the heating is great and there is enough space to live comfortably. Freshers week was great with how Norton Court provided us activities, even recently we got to have a pizza night. There isn’t that many in the accomodation which allows you to get to know people quickly. As well great car park if people wish to drive.
Good staff, good cleaning service. Location isn’t the best is a long walk from uni
Wouldn’t change where I went for the world even if it may not be as great as other accoms, met some amazing people
I had a really good experience and it felt like home being so far away from home.
