Who we are
The Nottingham Trent University Dodgeball Club, known for its passion and enthusiasm, is a thriving sports community within the university. Committed to promoting teamwork, fitness, and fun, the club welcomes dodgeball enthusiasts of all skill levels. With a rich history of engaging in thrilling matches and fostering a welcoming environment, this club is the perfect place to dodge, duck, dip dive and dodge, and make lasting friendships. Join us for an exciting journey on and off the dodgeball court!
What we offer
We offer two exhilarating training sessions every week to help you sharpen your dodgeball skills. But it's not just about the game – we also know how to have a great time off the court. Join us on Wednesday nights for socials that promise laughter and bonding. On weekends, we're out and about, competing in thrilling competitions away from campus. Plus, be prepared for some exciting activities that will keep you on your toes throughout the year; from karaoke to bowling and delicious meals out.
We train twice a week with our Coach Robson, these training sessions will focus on the 4 core skills of dodgeball; Catching, throwing, dodging and blocking. We will then learn how to integrate these skills effectively into matches.
We are fortunate enough to have 3 mens and 1 women's team which allows our club to cater to all levels of dodgeball enthusiasts. Whether you are a beginner or have had years of competitive matches. Our Men's first had an absolutely outstanding year, going undefeated all year and advancing to the BUCS finals where they came out on top!
We enter a range of open competitions which include men's, women's and Mixed matches. Our Fresher's team placed 3rd in their Fresher's Tournament last year and our men's team also placed 3rd in the Coventry open. Both teams smashed it and we couldn't be prouder.
Members from NTU, UoN and Nottingham sheriffs created a merged Team for the Regional League - The Nottingham Outlaws!
We have hosted many socials beside the legendary Ocean Wednesday nights. We tailor our socials to all our members; karaoke, bowling, movie nights and many fabulous meals out.
