Netball is a performance sport at NTU and is the largest female sports club at the University. As a proudly inclusive sport engaging with Women’s, Mixed and Men’s netball, Nottingham Trent University Netball Club aim to provide a highly competitive and friendly environment.

About NTU Netball

NTU Performance Netball was founded in 2017, with 5 BUCS squads, 1 Development squad, a intramural league and play for fun sessions. Our 1st Team compete in the Premier League North and all other BUCS squads across Tiers 2 - 4 in the Midlands Leagues. Our Development squad are placed in the second division of the Nottinghamshire County Netball, Winter League. NTU Netball provide a full student pathway with members across all areas. NTU have 78 members who compete for the University, alongside another 180+ members who play in our internal NTU Sport Netball League.

Dedication and teamwork are at the core of our values and play an integral role in the success of the club and each individual. The Netball club is a social and fun club with opportunities for all abilities from competitive athletes to those looking for a new sport.

We run netball Play for Fun sessions at 5 pm every Tuesday in the City Sports Hall.

Each year we accept a number of athletes on scholarships across a range of sports. Each scholarship application is judged on a case-by-case basis, and we encourage athletes from all sports who are interested to take a look at the information on the Sport scholarships web page.
