Represent
As one of the biggest sports clubs at NTU, we have something for everyone. A membership involves access to as many training sessions as you would like. We cater from beginner to advanced. With our flexible approach to training, you are not obliged to come every single week like some other clubs, so if you can’t make it one week it is not an issue.
For those who wish to take their training to a more serious level, we offer the opportunity to compete at the inter-university pole dancing championships and local competitions, as well as perform in showcases throughout the year. We had a great time competing last year, with 3rd in beginner and semi-pro and 1st place doubles at the IUPDC comp.
Trent Pole also offers a range of social activities, so you can get to meet more people outside of classes. Our socials range from skill swaps with other clubs, meals out, and movie nights to of course the famous Ocean night out.
Training takes place at Lee Westwood Sports Centre, City Dance studio, and PoleKat Aerial Arts Academy.
Our sessions are as follows:
- Monday: 2-4 pm (City Studio)
- Wednesday: 8-10 pm (City Studio)
- Friday: 8-10.30 pm (City Studio)
- Saturday: 12-2 pm (Lee Westwood, Clifton)
- Sunday: 3-5pm (PoleKat)
Our coach is Kate Potts.
