Squash is an exciting, fast-paced sport suitable for everyone. Anyone can play regardless of previous racket sport experience. We welcome all people and encourage both new and experienced players to come down to our sessions.
Squash is a club that has run for many years and has activities for all players regardless of ability.
We have 4 total teams that participate in BUCS, men's 1st, 2nd and 3rd and women's 1st. We also have 3 teams in the Nottinghamshire Squash League (these teams are mixed men and women). Alongside the competitive matches we also have development sessions for players who don’t want to compete in teams and play for fun sessions for new players.
Head coach is Miles Jenkins. He is a very experienced professional player who is ranked 27th in England. He has coached the teams here at NTU for two years in which the 1st team reached the Premier BUCS division.
British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS)
BUCS matches are played on Wednesdays both at home and away. Travel is provided by the university to these matches.
We also compete in BUCS individuals which is held in Nottingham this year and is where every university comes together to compete.
