Department of Visual Arts

The UK’s creative landscape is one of the most inclusive and diverse in the world. We approach visual arts with a collaborative ethos, giving our creative community the expertise to grow their theoretical knowledge and the facilities to build up hands-on practical skills. NTU is the perfect place to turn artistic passion into a career.

Our department attract students, staff and global partners from a diverse range of countries and backgrounds, challenging ideas and concepts in practice. Our philosophy’s simple: experimentation is the key to success. That same attitude pervades our teaching and courses.

Our exceptional academic staff and team of technicians enable freedom, confidence and opportunities to explore, as students hone their skills and outlook, and learn what matters most to their own practice.
