Why did you choose NTU and your course? 

I believe I can study with British students and other international students. After studying the BA (Hons) Graphic Design, I found that I am interested in drawing illustration, then I decided to be an illustrator rather than a graphic designer, working for an advertising agency. In addition, I didn’t attend a professional course in the past, I want to learn more about illustration.

What’s your favourite thing about your course?

We have a lots of School of Art & Design JOIN collective Community events to meet with other professional artists and illustrators.

I can learn more drawing and research method from other students.

Has your course included any guest speakers or industry trips?

I really liked that we had the chance to speak with Matt Willey who works for Pentagram. I saw a bunch of amazing works that inspired me a lot.

Where would you recommend visiting in Nottingham?

I would recommend visiting Wollaton Park, Forest Recreation Ground and the Arboretum.

If you could give new students some advice, what would it be?

A new student should have good time management skills and find jobs early and as soon as it is possible.

What do you think of the course staff?

All the staff are so patient and kind.

What’s next for you after NTU?

I’d like to work in western countries like UK or USA.

Has the employability team helped you plan for life beyond NTU?

Yes, the employability team told me how I can improve my CV. In addition, Job hunting skills is really useful and I now know many websites to help me find jobs.

Why did you want to study in the UK?

I can chat with British students and other overseas students.

How is NTU for international students?

I think it is good experience for me, sadly, I only have one year of study here.
