More about Rufiya

I currently work as an International Relations Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations. International Relations has played a part in my work for over ten years and developing my knowledge and expertise in this field is important to me.

Why did you choose to study an Online Masters in International Relations?

I was motivated to apply for the Online MA at NTU to support my career. Firstly, I needed to expand my knowledge in the area. Secondly, due to my work schedule, I needed a flexible mode of study.

What have you enjoyed most about the course?

The modules relating to International Organisations are extremely interesting, as I can apply these to my role. I also really like the approaches online tutor uses throughout every unit to keep us engaged and support our learning.

What advice would you give to anyone considering an Online Masters in International Relations?

I would definitely advise them to go ahead. It is never too late and never too early to study. Whether you want to go into this field or progress in your current role, NTU provides sound knowledge, which can be applied professionally.
