Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

NTU are dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space for all who work and study with us.

Nottingham Trent University is committed to sustaining an inclusive learning and working environment, which is enriched by diversity, values differences and promotes fairness, respect and equality of opportunity.

We work strategically to advance equality, diversity and inclusion, and to support a culture of engagement underpinned by respect. The work we undertake is evidence based and data informed.

As Vice-Chancellor, I am determined to see that equality, diversity and inclusion are at the core of what we do. I continue to listen to the voices of our diverse community of students and colleagues. It helps me and the institution shape the priorities for NTU and as well as the details of our work. We need to challenge and be challenged, support and be supported, as together we advance equality, diversity and inclusion at NTU.

Professor Edward Peck, Vice-Chancellor

At NTU we are proud to be a progressive and inclusive university. Our colleagues and students make this a great place to work and study, because we understand that treating people with respect and contributing to creating an inclusive environment is a shared responsibility.

Louise Edwards-Holland, Director of Human Resources
