Clearing is a route for applicants who have received all their results to secure a place at a UK university for September 2026 entry, following the main UCAS application deadline of Tuesday 30 June 2026.
Applicants typically use Clearing if they:
- Haven’t yet applied to university but want to start in September
- Are applying for the first time after Tuesday 30 June 2026
- Didn’t receive any offers from universities
- Have changed their mind about their chosen course or university
- Have declined their firm or insurance choice
Clearing runs from 2 July to 19 October this year.

You'll usually receive an email giving you instructions on how to book your accommodation and a unique booking link within an hour of selecting NTU as your Clearing choice.
