Postgraduate and mature student accommodation
NTU welcomes postgraduate and mature students and we understand that for some it's not your first time living away from home.
Many of our halls of residence have designated flats and areas that are specifically for postgraduate and mature students.
If you're a postgraduate or mature student starting your course in January, you can find more information on our January starts page.

How to book accommodationMature first year undergraduate accommodation
Mature first year undergraduates have a selection of flats available to book across our portfolio of halls.
This isn't something you will need to opt into, as the accommodation portal will know your age and level of study, automatically showing you the flats we have made available for mature first year undergraduates.
If your preferred hall/room type is not available to book, we will allow mature first years to live with postgraduate and returning students (which will give students a wider choice of accommodation options).
Please get in touch and let us know if you would like us to help you book with postgraduate and returning students.
Booking private accommodation
If you are interested in private accommodation, you will book directly with that private provider. Your contract will be with the company or individual that manages that building.
We recommend several private providers for purpose-built student accommodation in Nottingham, and there are lots more options. We work with Unipol, who provide student accommodation across Nottingham.
Family accommodation
NTU does not offer any accommodation for students with families or partners. All of our rooms are single occupancy and for registered students only.
If you would like more information about recommendations for finding family accommodation, please visit Unipol’s dedicated family accommodation page for Nottingham students.
