Taekwondo ITF, an exciting and thrilling martial art that will get your blood pumping. Continuing to grow in popularity and interest across the UK and rest of the world, Taekwondo ITF has an enjoyable and friendly social atmosphere.
We are a friendly club who welcome people of all skills and abilities with many members starting their taekwondo journey with us and taking part in their first competitions as part of the Nottingham Trent University Taekwondo team.
Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced practitioner we will find something to interest you in this stimulating semi-contact sport.
We are an inclusive club and encourage new members to join, whether you are looking to try something new, to improve fitness or to learn and develop a new skill.
Individually and as one united team, there are many opportunities for members to compete throughout the year, this includes British University Taekwondo League and British Student Taekwondo Federation competitions, these are two of the fastest growing organisations which support and provide opportunities for student athletes.
We have a strong team of coaches who lead training sessions, our instructors Danny Pearson (5th degree black belt) and Angelica Celinska (2nd degree black belt) take the sessions on Mondays and Saturdays. The external training sessions are led by Ralph Minott (7th degree black belt) from TAGB.
