The Print Shop is located on City Campus and provides a professional while-you-wait service for printing, copying, laminating, binding, foiling and scanning — we're open to NTU students, staff, and the general public.

About our services

NTU Print Shop offers high-quality services for binding, printing, foiling, laminating and scanning.

Our services are open to students, academic staff, and the general public alike.

We print from a wide range of file formats, including Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Adobe design files. You can provide your content via USB, portable hard drive, hard copy, or by email in advance.

  • Monday to Thursday 8.30 am - 5.00 pm
  • Fridays 8.30 am - 4.30 pm*

Bank Holiday closure dates: Monday 25 May, and Tuesday 26 May.

NTU Print Shop offers high-quality copying, printing, laminating and scanning services with fast turnaround times.

Binding and digital foiling

NTU Print Shop offers professional printing for binding and digital foiling, with both while-you-wait services and 24-hour turnarounds.

Frequently asked questions about our services

We accept the following types of digital files:

  • Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, and Project.
  • Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign files.

All files must be print-ready and saved as either a PDF or JPEG.

The fastest way to send us your file(s) is by bringing a USB stick to us in person at the shop.

We also accept files via email, but saving them on a device beforehand speeds up the process.

All digital files should be sent ahead of time to TPS@ntu.ac.uk.

Alternatively, NTU students can submit files for printing to our online service studentprintshop.ntu.ac.uk (24-hour service).

To prevent issues where text, images or formatting shift, we recommend saving your files in their original format and as a PDF.

Adobe files must be saved as a PDF or JPEG before we can print them because full-size design files take longer to process.
