Why did you choose NTU and your course?

I had studied at NTU for my bachelor’s and the amazing support and design education that the tutors provided me gave me confidence to pursue my Masters.

What’s your favourite thing about your course?

The wide diversity of students! We get to see different design outcomes and how we all can learn from each other.

How have you found the course facilities?

They are very useful! NTU provides an amazing variety of facilities and resources that suits any type of design discipline. The great thing is that I also get to try different techniques for my design that I won’t normally get to try outside of the university.

Have you worked on any live briefs or competitions?

Yes! I find them to be very useful for me to understand on what’s to be expected in the working industry.

What do you think of the creative and cultural scene in Nottingham? Is Nottingham a good city for an Art & Design student?

Yes, I think Nottingham has a good creative scene. There is always a new event to explore every month. The galleries also have a great variety of exhibitions and popups.

Where would you recommend visiting in Nottingham?

Wollaton Park for sure! Bring a nice picnic mat and some friends along. There are always plentiful green spaces to enjoy.

If you could give new students some advice, what would it be?

Don’t be afraid to try new things. It’s easy to fall back on what we feel is safe, but NTU is an amazing space to try new mediums, new techniques and new explorations.

What do you think of the course staff?

They are amazing and very patient! Whenever I have any questions regarding the course, they will make it easier for me to understand.

Why did you want to study in the UK?

UK is a great place to gain global experiences.

How is NTU for international students?

NTU is a great place for international students. I often find myself enjoying a warm cup of hot chocolate at the global lounge while meeting new people from different countries.
