Based on your open day booking, you're visiting Brackenhurst, which is located on a 500 acre site of fields, woodlands and water.

1. Check-in on arrival

Head to the Main Hall to check-in and find complimentary refreshments. Refreshments can be found in the Refectory.

4. Take a tour

Take a student-led tour of Brackenhurst and our facilities. Tours take around 40 minutes and give you the chance to ask our current students about their experience of life at Brackenhurst.

Drop-in at the Main Hall between 9 am3 pm to find out more about all of our subjects and the application process.

Quiet space available

We’re passionate about creating safe and inclusive spaces for all, and we are pleased to offer dedicated quiet spaces for your use during our open day. These are the perfect places for rest and reflection.

At our Brackenhurst Campus, this can be found in Main Hall.

  • Phone-free zone, with noise and conversation kept to a minimum.
  • Student Support Services will be available on their stand for any support or questions.

Up to £50 travel cost support

We understand that travel costs can add up. So, to make it easier for you to join us at an upcoming open day, we're offering up to £50 in travel support, based on the distance travelled.

We recommend you arrive early to fully enjoy our open day and plan ahead to make the most of your visit. If you have any access requirements please email enquiries@ntu.ac.uk ahead of your visit so that we can put suitable provisions in place.

The satnav postcode for Brackenhurst is NG25 0QF. There are plenty of parking spaces available on site for all visitors.*

If you are a Blue Badge holder or need to bring your car to the University because of your medical condition, we may be able to provide a parking space. Parking is not guaranteed and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

If you're travelling to Nottingham by coach (National Express or Megabus), you'll arrive at Broad Marsh Bus Station.

Nottingham City Transport (NCT)’s Pathfinder 26 bus service will take you to Brackenhurst in 45 minutes. The bus leaves every 30 minutes from the K1 bus stop on King Street, just off the Old Market Square. Visit the NCT site for more information on bus services.

You can get to Brackenhurst from Nottingham Train Station by catching Nottingham City Transports (NCT)'s Pathfinder 26 bus service from the Southwell Road stop (Stop SN61).

The closest train station to Brackenhurst is Lowdham. You can then catch Nottingham City Transports (NCT)'s Pathfinder 26 bus service from the War Memorial bus stop to Brackenhurst, the journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Visit the NCT site for more information on bus services.

East Midlands Airport is just 15 miles from Nottingham city centre and has a dedicated bus service between the airport and the city centre.
